Hero omori4/15/2023 You can’t get mad at people for not believing in Bigfoot.” Kel pouted. “Like I said, Kel, most people just aren’t ready to accept Bigfoot. “They saw a shadow in the woods, covered in vines and leaves, and yet they still won’t believe me when I say it could’ve been Sasquatch.” “Well, Hero and Basil aren’t the general public, they’ve seen legitimate proof in person,” Kel huffed. People will usually call you crazy, or make fun of you, and you just gotta accept that the general public just isn’t ready to believe in Bigfoot,” she explained. “Honestly, Kel, that’s just the kind of stuff you gotta get used to when Sasquatch hunting. “Well, I mean, you have to admit, a big ape that roams the woods that people have only seen in old blurry images? It does sound kinda out there,” she admitted. “Yes! Why doesn’t anyone ever take me seriously?!” Cris shrugged. “Oh, were you being serious when you said that?” Kel groaned. “Sorry, sorry, it’s just-” Cris took a deep breath. “HA HA- pfft, Kel, you- s-sorry that’s just- HA- you just looked so serious when you said that, I- HA!” Kel was not amused.Ĭris took a few moments to calm herself down. “Wh- HEY! I’m being serious here, they were making fun of me, saying I was unqualified for Sasquatch hunting when THEY couldn’t even make a simple snare trap!” Kel’s attempts to defend himself only made Cris laugh harder. “They kept making fun of me for saying Sasquatch was real!” he yelled. “Huh? What makes you say that?” she asked. They won’t listen to a single word I say.” Cris tilted her head. “Ugh, you’re probably better off telling them yourself. “Well, just tell them to not worry ‘bout a thing, cause we’re gonna capture the Sasquatch!” Kel frowned. That sounds… less cool,” Cris said, frowning. “…he’s not been doing very good mentally, so it kind of freaked him out.” Apparently Hero had seen the thing following him all day and Basil… uh…” Kel looked away. “They, uh, both kind of had a panic attack. “Yeah, it was,” he said, awkwardly chuckling. “My… my brother and my friend, they both saw it in the woods, staring at them.” “You weren’t? Then how’d you know what it looks like?” Kel sighed. “Oh, I… wasn’t the one who saw it.” Cris tilted her head. “That must’ve been the coolest thing ever, right?” “Man, I can’t believe you got to see a real life Sasquatch!” Kel flinched. Not to mention that you said it was missing an eye, so it's less likely to see the trap.” Kel nodded, and went to grab the bucket to fill it with leaves.Ĭris sighed. “But, we’re likely dealing with a juvenile Sasquatch here, so there’s no need to make a bigger hole and it also might be dumb enough to fall into it. This hole isn’t even big enough to fully hold you in it, let alone a full grown Sasquatch.” She put her hand on her chin. It’s extremely time consuming and impractical, as it’s hard to cover up the trap perfectly. “I can’t believe master Sasquatch hunters actually use these big ol’ pit traps you see in cartoons,” Kel said as Cris dusted her pants off. Kel stared at the decently sized hole Cris had dug. “Hm, yeah, these look good,” she said, and she climbed out of the hole. She popped out, taking a look at the branches Kel had gathered. Cris was inside it, digging it out with a shovel.
